Why A Science Themed Dayhome?
What is the definition of a scientist? Really it is anyone that asks questions and is curious about the world around them. How many times a day do you hear the question why?
Sound familiar?
All kids ask millions of questions a day, they are naturally curious about the world around them, and how things work. They, like a scientist always want to know why! All kids are mini scientists. My aim to is nurture this natural curiosity through our daily activities both indoor and outdoor – weather permitting! No matter how many times they ask why I will do my best to encourage them to discover the answer themselves and guide them in the right direction if they need it.
Local Amenities
We are luckily enough to be based in a lake community with close access to fish creek park, along with other parks for plenty of outside fun and games.
My day home
The day home is located on the main floor on my home, with plenty of natural light. In addition, we have air conditioning for those super warm summer days! The yard is fully enclosed with a sandpit, water table, and climbing structures for the children to enjoy.
